Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.4.0
Version 2.4.0 Latest 2026-10-14

Foxlogik Desktop now asks you to log in first, and the drawing editor is simpler and quicker to use.

  • New login screen: the app opens to a login screen where you enter your server address and choose Login with Foxlogik. It also has Check for Updates, Report an Issue, Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions links. Until you log in, Screenshot, Record, SOP, Report and Drawings show what they do. Shortcuts, the menu bar and opening files ask you to log in first, and a file opens right after you do.
  • Your profile: your picture or initials appear at the bottom of the sidebar, along with your name, server and a Log out option. You can't log out while a timer is running. Logging out keeps your captures, recordings, SOPs and reports. If your login expires or is revoked, you are logged out with a message.
  • About and Settings: About is now its own page, opened from the info icon. The server section has been removed from Settings.
  • Cleaner drawing editor: sheets open in a drawing editor only, with no Foxlogik menu bar, sidebar or chat pop-ups, including after you switch revision or compare. After the first sheet, further sheets open faster.
  • Markups and files: XFDF and Export with markups are saved to your Downloads folder and shown in Finder, and Import opens a file picker. Questions from the editor, such as leaving with unsaved markups, appear as standard dialogs. Closing a sheet window with unsaved markups asks whether to save them first. Offline copies open read-only, so draw your markups while online.
  • Fix for projects with missing sheet files: a sheet issued before its file was archived no longer stops the whole project from loading. It opens online as usual, Keep offline skips it, and the status tells you how many sheets are online only.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.3.0
Version 2.3.0 2026-10-13

Version 2.3.0 keeps your timer in sync everywhere and introduces a preview of Drawings, with markups that work offline.

  • Timers stay in sync. A timer started in the browser extension or on another device now appears in the app, and one ended elsewhere clears on its own. On the same Mac, starting, stopping or pausing in the app or the browser extension shows in the other within a second. You can pause or stop a timer that was started elsewhere, and stopping a timer that has already ended no longer leaves the app stuck on tracking.
  • Correct timer start time. Timers now show the true time they started.
  • New Drawings area (preview). Turn it on in Settings → Drawings to browse a project's current drawing set. Search sheets by drawing number or title, see them grouped by discipline with their revision, and spot sheets that have been superseded. Double-click a sheet to open it in its own window.
  • Keep drawings offline. Turn on "Keep offline" to download a project's current set. Files are verified before they are kept, outdated sheets are removed on the next sync, and you can set a storage limit in Settings → Drawings. Without a connection, sheets open read-only with an "Offline copy" banner showing the revision and date.
  • Markup on offline sheets. Draw clouds, callouts, pen strokes, text, shapes, revision triangles and stamps on pinned sheets with no connection. Your changes are saved on your Mac and sent automatically once you're back online, and the Drawings list shows how many are waiting.
  • Resolve markup conflicts. If someone else changed the same markup, keep yours, theirs, or both. If the sheet has a newer revision, move your markup to it. Markups that were refused or deleted elsewhere stay on your Mac until you dismiss them.
  • Smoother drawing sets. The project picker lists projects that have drawings, large sets load completely, and pinned projects update in the background only when their drawings have changed. Opening many sheets in a short time now shows a clear "wait a moment" message.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.2.13
Version 2.2.13 2026-10-06

This update makes annotating screenshots smoother, with automatic saving and better text boxes and callouts.

  • Your annotations now save automatically a moment after you stop drawing, and right away when you close the screenshot, go back, open another one, close the window or quit the app. Text you're still typing is included, and saved annotations stay editable. The editor's "Discard" button is now "Close", since your work is already saved.
  • Screenshots you open from Finder now keep a single gallery entry that later saves update, instead of creating a new copy each time. Opening a screenshot from the menu-bar history or the post-capture popup also keeps its existing annotations editable.
  • Gallery thumbnails now show your latest annotations after every save, and going back to the gallery waits for the final save so the list is always up to date.
  • Callout bubbles grow to fit longer text, shrink back as you delete (never smaller than the size you drew), and keep the arrow visible. Making a callout's font larger also enlarges its bubble, and existing callouts now show all of their text.
  • Text boxes now open one line tall and grow as your text wraps. When you edit text that spans several lines, it keeps its width and wraps inside the box instead of collapsing onto one long line.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.2.12
Version 2.2.12 2026-09-14

This update fixes a couple of connectivity issues from a recent site move.

  • Fixed the Release Notes and Refer a Friend links, which were leading to broken pages.
  • Fixed automatic update checking, so the app can find and notify you about new versions again.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.2.11
Version 2.2.11 2026-09-04

This release adds a screenshot countdown so you can get things ready before the capture happens.

  • Add an optional delay — 3 seconds, 5 seconds, or none — before Full Screen, Window, Application, Display, region-select, and repeat-previous-region screenshots, with an on-screen countdown so you know exactly when the shot will be taken. Handy when opening the capture menu changes the very thing you're trying to capture.
  • Choose your preferred delay from the new Screenshot tab in Settings.
  • Self-Timer now follows this same delay setting, with a 5-second minimum.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.2.10
Version 2.2.10 2026-08-18

Version 2.2.10 brings smarter screen capture and much better annotation tools.

  • When selecting a region to screenshot or record, you can now drag across any connected display, not just the one your cursor happened to be on.
  • Callout arrows now point accurately at their target from any side, including left and right, instead of bending awkwardly around the bubble.
  • New callouts placed by dragging now appear on the side you dragged toward, and sideways or straight-down drags now produce a proper bubble instead of vanishing.
  • Moving a callout keeps its arrow aimed at the same spot, so repositioning it no longer requires re-aiming afterward.
  • Text annotations now show a clean underline instead of a boxed outline, and pressing Enter starts a new line while typing.
  • Typed annotation text is no longer lost when you click elsewhere, switch tools, or hit Save.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.2.9
Version 2.2.9 2026-08-06

This update fixes two issues in dictation and shape editing.

  • Dictation no longer drops words after you pause while speaking — your text now continues appending correctly instead of overwriting what you already said.
  • Selected arrows and lines no longer show an unwanted bounding box outline.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.2.8
Version 2.2.8 2026-07-30

This release improves the reliability of dictation.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when switching microphones while dictating.
  • Fixed an issue where starting dictation multiple times in quick succession could cause it to misbehave.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.2.7
Version 2.2.7 2026-07-29

This update gives you more control over your recordings.

  • Choose which camera appears in your recording bubble and which microphone captures your audio, from Settings > Recording or right from the toolbar while recording.
  • Switch cameras or microphones mid-recording without having to stop and start over.
  • If your camera or microphone gets unplugged during a recording, it automatically falls back to your built-in camera or default microphone, then switches back once you reconnect your original device.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.2.6
Version 2.2.6 2026-07-28

Version 2.2.6 brings a smoother annotation and documentation experience, plus a new way to share Foxlogik with friends.

  • Annotating screenshots feels more natural: new text boxes start small and grow as you type instead of stretching across the page, callout arrows point and center more naturally, and editing text now saves automatically without needing to press a separate "Done" button.
  • Undo and redo (⌘Z / ⇧⌘Z) now apply only to your annotations, so they no longer accidentally undo other edits you're making, like a step title.
  • Added a "Refer a Friend" link in the About section of Settings.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.2.5
Version 2.2.5 2026-07-24

This release brings live progress updates from Fennek right into your chat.

  • See Fennek's progress update in real time as it works on your requests, right in the chat window.
Foxlogik Desktop — macOS
Changelog · Version 2.2.4
Version 2.2.4 2026-07-24

This release brings several improvements to the SOP editor, making it easier to build and organize your documents.

  • You can now edit screenshot titles directly in place.
  • Step and SOP descriptions support rich-text editing right where you're working.
  • Reordering steps and screenshots is more reliable, with separate drag areas for each.
  • A cleaner hover effect makes step drag handles easier to spot only when you need them.
Foxlogik Desktop — Windows
Changelog · Version 2.4.0
Version 2.4.0 Latest 2026-10-14

Version 2.4.0 adds a secure login screen and makes opening drawings smoother and more reliable.

  • Log in to get started: Foxlogik Desktop now opens on a login screen showing the server address, Login with Foxlogik, Check for Updates, Report an Issue, Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. Screenshot, Record, SOP and Drawings show what they do until you log in, and shortcuts, the tray menu and opening files ask you to log in first (a file opens right after you do).
  • Your profile in the sidebar: see your picture or initials, name and server at the bottom of the sidebar, with a Log out option (not available while a timer is running). Logging out keeps your captures, recordings and SOPs.
  • Clearer login messages: login problems, the reason you were asked to log in and the update status now appear when there is something to tell you, and the long subtitle on the login screen wraps instead of being cut off. If your login expires or is revoked, you are logged out with a message explaining why.
  • Drawings open in a clean editor: a sheet opens as a drawing editor only, without Foxlogik menus, sidebar or chat pop-ups, even after switching revision or comparing. After your first sheet, more sheets open faster.
  • Safer markups: closing a sheet window with unsaved markups asks whether to save them first. Offline copies open read-only, and markups are drawn while online.
  • More reliable Drawings list: opening Drawings no longer crashes, including when using the sheet right-click menu (Open, Open offline copy). Sheets that don't have a file yet now load properly, open online as usual, and are skipped by Keep offline, with the status showing how many sheets are online only.
  • About and Settings: About now has its own page, reached from the info icon, and the server section has been removed from Settings.
Foxlogik Desktop — Windows
Changelog · Version 2.3.0
Version 2.3.0 2026-10-13

Version 2.3.0 adds a new Drawings area (a preview) and keeps your timer in sync across devices.

  • Your timer now stays in sync everywhere. A timer started or stopped in the browser extension or on another device shows up in the app within about 30 seconds, and anything you start, stop or pause in the app or the browser extension on the same PC appears in the other almost instantly. A timer started elsewhere can be paused or stopped from here, and if a pause or resume doesn't go through, the app shows the timer's real state.
  • New Drawings area (preview, turned on in Settings → Drawings): pick a project and search its current drawing set by drawing number or title. Sheets are grouped by discipline and show their revision, and superseded or out-of-date sheets are flagged.
  • Open any sheet in its own window with the Foxlogik viewer by double-clicking it or pressing Enter. The viewer signs in for you, signs in again if the session lapses, and opens links to other sites in your browser. If the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is missing, the window tells you and links to Microsoft's installer.
  • Turn on "Keep offline" to save a project's current drawings to your PC. Every file is verified before it is kept, outdated sheets are removed on the next sync, and you can cap the storage used in Settings → Drawings.
  • Mark up drawings without a connection. Saved sheets open in the full markup editor (clouds, callouts, pen, text, shapes, revision triangles and stamps) with an "Offline copy" banner.
  • Offline markups are never lost. They are saved on your PC first and sent automatically when you're back online. If someone else changed the same markup, you choose to keep yours, theirs or both. If the sheet has a newer revision, you can move your markup onto it. If a markup is refused or the sheet is deleted, a copy stays on your PC until you dismiss it.
  • Faster, smoother drawing sync. The project picker lists only projects that have controlled drawings, large drawing sets load completely, and pinned projects update in the background only when their drawings have changed. Opening many sheets in a short time now shows a clear "wait a moment" message instead of a generic error.
Foxlogik Desktop — Windows
Changelog · Version 2.2.13
Version 2.2.13 2026-10-06

This update makes your screenshot annotations safer and text boxes and callouts easier to work with.

  • Annotations now save automatically a moment after you stop drawing, and right away when you leave a screenshot (closing it, going back, opening another screenshot, switching section, closing the window or quitting the app). Text you're still typing is included, and saved annotations stay editable.
  • The editor's "Discard" button is now "Close", since your work is already saved.
  • Pressing Ctrl+S while typing in a text box now saves that text too.
  • Opening another screenshot no longer carries over the previous screenshot's annotations or undo history.
  • Callout bubbles now grow to fit all of your text, on screen and in exported images, and shrink back if you remove text. They grow away from the arrow so it stays visible, and stay inside the image.
  • Re-editing a multi-line text box now keeps its width, wraps new text inside it and grows taller as you add lines, instead of collapsing onto one long line.
Foxlogik Desktop — Windows
Changelog · Version 2.2.12
Version 2.2.12 2026-09-14

This update fixes broken links and restores automatic updates after a recent change to our website.

  • The Release Notes and Refer a Friend links now open correctly instead of showing an error.
  • The app can once again check for and find new updates automatically.
Foxlogik Desktop — Windows
Changelog · Version 2.2.11
Version 2.2.11 2026-09-04

This release adds a customizable countdown before your screenshots are taken.

  • Choose how long to wait before a screenshot is captured — no delay, 3 seconds, or 5 seconds — giving you time to arrange your screen first. This applies to full screen, region, window, application, and repeat-previous-area captures.
  • The self-timer now follows your chosen countdown setting (minimum 5 seconds) instead of always using a fixed 3-second delay.
Foxlogik Desktop — Windows
Changelog · Version 2.2.10
Version 2.2.10 2026-08-18

Version 2.2.10 brings smoother guide syncing, a dictation fix, and several improvements to text and callout annotations.

  • Fixed an issue where some guides could get stuck and repeatedly fail to sync; syncing now recovers automatically and shows a clear message if something still goes wrong.
  • Fixed dictation occasionally dropping words during brief pauses.
  • Text and callout annotations now show a light underline instead of a full box while you're typing, and pressing Enter starts a new line instead of closing the editor.
  • Callouts keep their arrow pointed at the right spot when you move the label, and new callouts placed by dragging sideways now appear beside their target instead of only above or below it.
  • Callout arrows now leave the bubble from whichever side faces the target, for a cleaner-looking pointer.
  • Selecting an arrow or line now shows simple, draggable end points instead of a boxed outline.

Foxlogik Desktop — Windows
Changelog · Version 2.2.8
Version 2.2.8 2026-07-30

This release improves the tray icon and makes voice dictation more accurate and reliable.

  • The tray icon now displays in full color, so it stays visible no matter your taskbar's theme or background.
  • Fixed a bug where dictated text could come out garbled or repeated instead of updating cleanly as you spoke.
  • Voice dictation now uses a more accurate speech engine for better recognition quality, with an older engine used automatically as a backup when needed.
  • If higher-quality dictation requires turning on "Online speech recognition," the app now asks you to enable it and gives you a direct link to the right Windows privacy setting.
Foxlogik Desktop — Windows
Changelog · Version 2.2.7
Version 2.2.7 2026-07-29

You can now choose exactly which camera and microphone your recordings use.

  • Pick which camera appears in your recording bubble, from Settings > Recording or a new dropdown next to the camera button on the recorder toolbar
  • Pick which microphone your recording captures, from Settings > Recording or a new dropdown next to the microphone button on the recorder toolbar
  • Switch either device mid-recording without needing to stop and restart
  • Audio stays perfectly in sync even if you switch microphones partway through, including ones that record at different quality settings
  • If a camera or microphone gets unplugged mid-recording, it automatically falls back to your default device, then switches back to your chosen one once it's reconnected
Foxlogik Desktop — Windows
Changelog · Version 2.2.6
Version 2.2.6 2026-07-28

This update makes annotations easier to place and read, and adds a way to invite friends to Foxlogik.

  • Callout bubbles now point precisely at what they're marking, even at steep angles.
  • Placing a callout centers it neatly above (or below, when there's no room) the spot you clicked, with a straight connecting line instead of an angled one.
  • Text boxes in annotations resize automatically as you type, rather than staying a fixed size.
  • Editing annotation text is simpler — click away or press Esc to save, no separate Done button needed.
  • Added a "Refer a Friend" option in Settings so you can easily share Foxlogik with others.

Foxlogik Chrome Extension
Changelog · Version 2.0.1
Version 2.0.1 Latest 2026-10-14

This update makes the extension more reliable when you sign out of the desktop app.

  • The extension now shows "Not connected" right away when you log out of the desktop app.
  • Uploads that are still waiting now hold on until you log back in, instead of being lost.
  • The disconnected message now tells you to log in to the desktop app.
Foxlogik Chrome Extension
Changelog · Version 2.0.0
Version 2.0.0 2026-10-13

Version 2.0 brings a refreshed timer, a smarter task picker, and a much more reliable Stop button.

  • Redesigned task timer button on Odoo task pages: it now sits at the start of the status bar, stays in place when the page refreshes, and no longer resets a running clock. It is orange while running, amber when paused, and offers "Switch timer here" when another task is running. It follows your light or dark theme.
  • New Link task picker on GitHub: search first, filter by project, and see why a task was suggested along with its project and stage. You can use the keyboard to move through results, and a "Create task" form opens only when you need it. Picking or creating a task now links it and starts the timer in one step.
  • One-click task switching: on another task's page, click "Switch Timer" to stop the running timer and start one on the new task. This works on Odoo task pages and GitHub.
  • Your timer now stays in sync with the Foxlogik Desktop app, other browsers and the 12-hour auto-stop. A timer started or stopped elsewhere shows up here, and changes made here appear in the Desktop app within a second. Timers started in another app can be paused or stopped here, but browser activity and screenshots are only captured for timers started in this browser.
  • Stopping a timer is much faster. It no longer waits for screenshots to finish uploading, which could take minutes. They now upload in the background.
  • Fixed the side panel's Stop & Save button getting stuck on "Stopping…" after the first stop. If a stop gets no answer within 45 seconds, the panel tells you and shows the timer's real status so you can try again.
  • The side panel now shows a running timer in Foxlogik orange, with a blinking dot beside the clock and a "Tracking now" badge. When paused, the badge reads "Paused".
  • Links in AI replies now open in a new tab when you click them. Before, they looked clickable but did nothing.
  • Timer errors now appear under the button instead of failing silently. Stopping a timer that already ended elsewhere clears it so you can start a new one.
  • Activity recorded while a sync was in progress is no longer lost, and a project remembered for a repository that's no longer in your list no longer leaves the filter blank.

Changelog · Version 1.0.23
Version 1.0.23 2026-09-14

This update fixes a few links and gets update notifications working again.

  • Fixed the Refer a Friend link so it opens properly instead of showing an error.
  • Fixed the manual update link so it takes you to the right place to install the latest version.
  • Restored automatic update checks, so you'll be notified when a new version is available.
Foxlogik Chrome Extension
Changelog · Version 1.0.22
Version 1.0.22 2026-08-21

This update makes the AI chat easier to use for longer conversations and cleans up how past chats are labeled.

  • Answer a whole set of chat questions at once: click the expand button above the message box to open every question in one full-screen form, see a running count of how many you've answered, and submit them all together. Your answers carry over whether you switch back to the single-question view or not, and voice input works the same way in both.
  • Typing a long answer no longer scrolls sideways out of view — the answer box now wraps and grows as you type, up to six lines, then scrolls normally.
  • Your list of previous chats now shows the actual name of the item each chat was about, instead of an internal code, and searching the list matches that name too.
Foxlogik Chrome Extension
Changelog · Version 1.0.21
Version 1.0.21 2026-08-18

This update makes it faster to review reports and easier to manage your conversations.

  • Tapping a reply about a newly created Daily Report now takes you straight to that report.
  • You can now speak your answers to questions instead of typing them, using the same microphone button available elsewhere in the chat.
  • Selecting an answer option automatically moves you to the next question, so you can move through questions faster.
  • You can now rename your saved chats right from the history list — just click the pencil icon or double-click a chat name. The current chat's name is also shown at the top for easy reference.
Foxlogik Chrome Extension
Changelog · Version 1.0.18
Version 1.0.18 2026-08-06

Foxlogik Chrome Extension 1.0.18 improves how you answer Fennek's questions and makes voice dictation more reliable.

  • Fennek's questions now appear in a dedicated panel docked above the message box, one question at a time, so you always know what to answer next.
  • Move freely between questions with Previous/Next, tick or type your answer, and confirm with Submit when you're ready — nothing sends until you say so.
  • A "Something else" option is always available if you'd rather type your own answer instead of picking from the list.
  • Fixed dictation dropping words after a pause, and stopped a fast repeat Enter from sending the same message twice.
